Here’s a big surprise…
…Chicago politics moves into the White House.
In a recent meeting with “moderate” Democrat congressmen, the president rubuked a certain representative who had the temerity to express concern about the wisdom of the government trying to spend it’s way into a vibrant economy by amassing more government debt than has ever been compiled in our nation’s history.
Reportedly, the president responded with this chilling retort, “Don’t think we aren’t keeping score, brother.”
In a Washington Post op-ed, Karl Rove had this to say about the incident:
“Team Obama wants to remind its adversaries it has plenty of power, and it does. The question is whether the White House will wield it responsibly. The jury is still out, but certain clues are beginning to emerge. ‘Don’t think we’re not keeping score, brother,’ even if said with a wink and a smile, isn’t quite the ‘new politics’ we were told to expect.”
